NOTICE OF SUSPENSION
Hackney Carriage Licence number HCV068
Black Ford Mondeo, Registration YT63 UVU
I have inspected the vehicle specified above and found it unfit for use as a licensed Hackney Carriage for the following reasons:
The vehicle is not liveried in a Pantone 321 colour with the required markings on the front doors to indicate that it is a hackney carriage licensed by Guildford Borough Council as required by the Council's Taxi and Private Hire Licensing Policy, effective from 9 December 2015 which required all licensed hackney carriages to be liveried by 1 January 2018, and
The vehicle is not complytng with its licence conditions which require the licence holder to ensure the vehicle complies with the hackney carriage livery requirement as detailed in Section 4 of the policy at all times.
The Hackney Carriage Licence is hereby suspended until such time as the vehicle is liveried as per the Council Policy requirements and an Authorised Officer is satisfied that it is fit for use.
The vehicle must be presented for inspection by an Authorised Officer at 09:00 hours on Monday 18 February 2018 at Guildford Borough Council, Millmead House, Millmead, Guildford, Surrey GU2 4BB.
Please note that the vehicle can be presented for inspection at any time during office hours before this date should it be compliant and you wish to have the suspension lifted.
If after the expiration of a period of two months the vehicle is still unfit, the licence will be deemed to have been revoked and subsections (2) and (3) of Section 60 of the above Act shall apply with any necessary modifications.
